Me and Cara went up to Niagara a couple months ago and I only now had a chance to develop the roll. Hotels are fun because they’re new and exciting and I think there’s the element of whatever we do here doesn’t really matter once we enter the real world again. Maybe alcohol adds to that? People need that sometimes I guess though.
today, for the first time in forever i was awoken by the sounds of birds chirping in the trees and the warm sunlight filtering through my windows warming my body. It’s -1C now and it’s supposed to get as high as 9C, which might not sound so impressive to the you-s in nicer parts of the world, but for me it means I’m definetely running outside today. Hopefully it’s not too early to say that winter is finally over.

I can’t wait for this kind of weather again :)

Went to Amigo’s restaurant the other week at Silver Star Blvd (across and near PMall). Don’t let the Mexicano name fool you though, it’s a moderately upscale place about asian and some western style dishes. I like Amigos because there’s something homely about the atmosphere and people who work there. I know it’s kinda embarrassing to say, especially nowadays, but it always reminds me of Yokusuka and Bob’s Pizza from the old Dreamcast game Shenmue. (NERD ALERT!)

ahem* Anyways, Amigo’s is great and their weekend special on grilled eel rice is probably the best in scarborough - cheaper and yummier than making it yourself.
Today I came across the Polytopia project from the spacecollective and after a lot of reading I find there’s a lot I have to say on the so-called ideals of the perfect society that the Polytopia project is meant to nourish. Don’t get me wrong though, there’s a lot of good ideas proposed by spacecollective, especially those that recognize species (and AI) biodiversity as an additional and important form of diversity, as well as their leveraging of current and future technologies to more effectively foster and embolden intellectual collaboration.
